Katie Bergevin - Assistant Principal

Mrs. Bergevin graduated with a degree in Special Education and holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Leadership and K–12 School Administration. She began her career in education at P.S. Jones before serving at Chocowinity Middle School, and this will be her second year at Washington High School. She has three children, two of whom graduated from Washington High School. Her family is proud Appalachian State fans and enjoy cheering on the Mountaineers together.

Mrs. Bergevin is passionate about building positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the community, and is committed to creating a school culture where every student feels supported and inspired to succeed. She is excited to continue serving the Washington High School community and looks forward to making a positive impact as a school leader.
